Let Me Explain.

In order to identify my own existence I rely on other people; self-identification through external response and a simultaneous exclusion of myself birthed my use of characters and personas for expression.  They are like pores.

These characters have stories that are recorded in multiple mediums.  I have personas that I use in videos and other mediums but they do not have names or fully fleshed out lifestyles like the characters. The line between self-portraiture and fiction is only as thick as the language with which we use to explain the difference that concerns a given expression.  I really like pointing out conditions that are tediously frightening and hilarious. There is no such thing as a harmless joke.  Using mediums is the best protection against accusations of conscious malice or inappropriate conduct.

I am 26. Born in Los Angeles, I moved to Gambier, Ohio and then Portland, Oregon where I received a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from Reed College.  Following Graduation I designed clothing for cult fashion line, Ksubi, in Los Angeles and Sydney. I am currently based in London, studying and practicing fine arts at Central Saint Martins College.
